British Institue of NDT Aerospace Workshop 2014: Non-Destructive Testing and Measurement
The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) has organised an Aerospace Workshop on Non-Destructive Testing and Measurement, which is to be held on 29th April 2014 at the BAWA Conference Centre, Filton, Bristol BS34 7RG.
The workshop aims are:
To consider examples where NDT techniques are used for measurement and measurement techniques are used for defect detection (including X-ray CT and ultrasonic inspection of composites). Methods for understanding and determining uncertainty in measurements and NDT will be addressed. The day will consist of a series of talks, with time to discuss topics that are raised.
Richard Freemantle from Wavelength NDT will be presenting recent work on ultrasonic phased array measurements in composites and utilising NDT data for FE modelling and materials testing.
The workshop preceeds the BINDT Aerospace symposium on the 30th April and 1st of May which Wavelength NDT will also be attending.
